Shuswap Community Foundation Emergency Preparedness Fund
The Bush Creek East wildfire in 2023 underscored the critical need for coordinated support of medium- and long-term recovery efforts. In early 2025, the Shuswap Emergency Preparedness Fund was created and serves as a proactive framework for responding quickly and effectively to new crises in our region. The Carlin Hall Community Association is selling the double CD “Connections Live At Carlin Hall” to generate funds to be donated to the Shuswap Community Emergency Preparedness Fund. Silent auction bids for the original artwork used on this CD contributed by local artist, Lynn Erin, are also being accepted to support this fund raising initiative.
Double CD of the feature acts recorded live at the Carlin Coffeehouse throughout 2024. The CD has twenty-one tracks featuring nine different local artists/groups performing original works as well as covers of traditional songs.
